Everlight Chemical 2nd Plant Excels in Green Procurement

Venue: Taoyuan County Government and Environmental Protection Administration.
Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, encourages domestic enterprises to comply with the global trend of sustainable development and to engage in green production and green consumption. Since 2009, Everlight Chemical has carried out a green procurement program, spending NT$22 million a year on the purchase of greenlabeled cartons, automobiles, freezers and cement paint. For its extensive environmental work, the company received an Excellent Green Procurement Enterprise award from the Environmental Protection Administration and Taoyuan County Government. Yeh Shun-Hsin, Director of the 2nd Plant, accepted the award.
